This question is so often worded wrong and it pisses me off. Who really is FOR abortion? It's quite possibly one of the more emotionally traumatic decisions and procedures anyone has to go through. WTF.
I'm definitely for having a fully legal abortion option out there. No "special cases," no reasons. If you want, or more importantly need an abortion, you should be able to get one, no questions asked. It annoys and sickens me that this question still even needs to be asked and debated, but I suppose considering lingering attitudes towards women and children as being without independent autonomy I shouldn't be surprised.
[04] Do you think a country would fail with a female president?
Nope. It would suck for the first couple in office though, as they'd have to be status quo hardasses in order to be taken seriously.
[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
Not according to the current justice system. I don't understand why it isn't okay for normal people to walk up and kill someone, and it's okay for the state, but there's a lot of interesting cognitive dissonance up in the legal system. There's also the part of me that sees capital punishment as rewarding the perpetrator - death seems too good/easy for most of the people that get it and "deserve it". Also what happens to actually innocent people who die? Doesn't seem right in my mind.
Course, you're posing the question to someone that occasionally wonders how society would shift if murder wasn't a crime.

I believe there's all sorts of things out there that science has no way of explaining just yet, but for the most part, they don't direct our lives or even have any real interest in us. At best, if there is anything close to God out there, it's the supernatural equivalent of a kid with an ant farm.
[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
At the core, I don't really believe in legal marriage. That said, if you're going to be handing out cute little perks and benefits to people willing to formally tie their lives together in whatever way is meaningful to them, you should be willing an able to confer that package to anyone who wants it. Bring enough for the whole class as it were, not just the straight monogamous couples.
[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Man, fuck immigration. All that shit is an institutionalized way of keeping whatever you call "undesirable people" out of YOUR clubhouse. It's ridiculous when you're five and you hang a "NO GIRLS ALLOWED" sign up on the door, and it's ridiculous on the national level.
Also being at least half Puerto Rican myself (one of the few things I know about the ? half of my ancestry) I'm severely annoyed by this question.

So OMG you guys. I got the Netflix disc for wii yesterday and IT IS AMAZING. Like I said on Twitter, I've had no reason to actually use Monstervision since the DVD player locked up and LOST ended. Now? well, I'll just say half the shit I was gonna watch on my computer I can stream to the TV. Which is awesome really. Doctor Who I think requires a bigger screen. Also I do need to occasionally give EPEEN a break you know? Shit. Now I'm actually looking FORWARD to ditching the cable. We seriously won't need it post move - Netflix even has Thomas the friggin' Tank Engine for a certain obsessed youngster. THE FUTURE IS CRAZY YO.
Looking forward to the first kid weekend in a while where I will be around for all of it instead of half or none of it. May take Kidzilla to see Despicable Me at some point, as I want to see it myself. A little boggled that there are only two or three of those left before the move. Eeeep.

Still working on replacing the inbred dragons I released a couple weeks back cleaning up my scroll, hopefully breeding or catching a Bluna and completing my Legendary Trio (Icicle and Magma dragons are hard little buggers to find, I tell ya.) Hoping to have all that done by Halloween, where hopefully there will be a new holiday release and also hopefully people will be breeding up last years pumpkin dragons so I can grab one of those.
