In NY. Not dead. Internet is indeed bolloxed. This weekends battle is convincing Dad he needs DSL especially since he's thinking of getting an ipad. Whee.

Re this afternoon's doc visit: I seem to have misplaced 12 more pounds, so I've now completely not on purpose managed to get back down to the pre-surgery necessitated steroids weight. I'd be all yippee or some shit but being skinny always comes with feeling like crud; this is no exception. Also next month I go back on Humira so at some point expect graphic tales and bitching about having to give myself four shots in rapid succession. Ow.

This trip also reminded me of things I hate about taking public transportation home (Peter pan biases smell funny and so do the people on them, no stopping when I need to, bloody expensive because neither feng wah nor Bolt run to the valley, lies about Internet availability, service problems on the subway) and things I love and miss about it (omgsleeeeep, goggling lIke a tourist at Manhattan in it's glory, the subway (when it's working)). Still miss Hanzo-San though. :( gotta get him back on the road soon if it kills me.

It's gonna be a busy, creative weekend I think...
