Grrr, paid account is dead again; I can't use the "responsible adult" icon.

1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Right now all of them make me wince.

2. Do you miss being a child?
Nah. My childhood had great moments, but it was mostly me being surrounded by adults who treated me... well, like a kid. While there are reasons why being a grown-up sucks, all of them have to do with money; if you can shove that aside, being a grown-up is AWESOME. Driving! Ice cream and nachos for dinner if you wanna! Alcohol! Porn! Making your own decisions and mistakes! Voting! Why would I give that up?

3. Chore you hate the most?
Putting things away. I can wash dishes and laundry until kingdom come, but having to actually put away the dry dishes or fold, hang and put away laundry makes my soul die a little every time.

4. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
I don't know about stereotypical romantic dinner, but I do kinda get all squooshy when [livejournal.com profile] cell23 makes dinner for both of us. Especially if I'm not feeling okay.

5. If you could go back and change one thing what would it be?
I've got a list. But I also think everything I've done and that has happened has happened for a reason. I'd probably skip back a couple of years and be better with money though.

6. Name of your first grade teacher?
I had two. Gwen and Grace. Didn't actually know their last names.

7. What do you really want to be doing right now?
I'm good right now - farting around on the computer and listening to the kids and [livejournal.com profile] cell23 downstairs.

8. What did you want to be when you grew up?
A writer. It can still happen. I got the ideas, just no time and wherewithall to get them out of my head.

9. How many colleges did you attend?
One, with a class here and there at others.

10. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
I slept in it. Yes, I'm still in my PJs. Nyeh.

11. What are your thoughts on gas prices?
I'm good with $2.52/gal. That seems on the high end of reasonable to me.

12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
"Fucking Pills." I turned it off and slept through it.

13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
"I can't read anymore of this magazine, which sucks because I have three pages left."

14. What famous person would you like to have dinner with?
I'd say Weird Al, but he's all vegan and stuff and if I'm taking a celebrity out to dinner we're having steak.

15. Have you ever crashed your vehicle?
Not yet. *knock on wood.*

16. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer?
I'd sign up with Dakin in a heartbeat. OMGKITTIEZ.

17. Get up early or sleep in?
Sleep in. Getting up early is unnatural for me. If left to my own devices, I'd get up at 4 and go to bed a little after dawn.

18. What is your favorite cartoon character?
Tough call...

19. Favorite thing to do at night?
I'd say sex, but lets be honest, no time of day rules that out. I'm rather liking the snuggle on the couch and watch stuff on Netflix thing [livejournal.com profile] cell23 and I have fallen into the habit of doing.

20. When did you first start feeling old?
Realizing that I'm one of the few people in my social circle born in a decade beginning with a 7.

21. Favorite lunch meat?
Turkey or ham. nom nom.

22. What do you get every time you go into Wal-Mart?
It used to be a pretty severe panic attack. That's no longer the case. Guess I've gotten used to interrogation level florescent lighting.

23. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
I used to. Lets just say circumstances in my life have taught me not to discount it so easily.

24. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out about?
Eh, I'll readily admit it, I love me some Annie. The original one, with Carol Burnett, Tim Curry, Bernadette Peters and Albert Finney. In fact, if I am parked in front of the TV watching it, chances are I've had a VERY bad day and you should remove all sharp things and firearms from my immediate vicinity.

25. What's your favorite drink?
Liquid in general: Pepsi. Grown up: baileys, milk, hershey's syrup and coffee.

26. Who from high school would you like to run in to?
A few people that I wonder about that aren't on facebook. And W. From all reports he's pretty exactly the same. :)

27. What radio station is your car radio tuned to right now?
I discovered Boston's MikeFM last night going to get the kids. I love their tagline "WE PLAY EVERYTHING" and the fact that I know and can sing along to 9/10 songs in a rotation.

28. Sopranos or Desperate Housewives?
I've never seen either, but The Sopranos is on my TV series queue and Desperate Housewives is not.

29. Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back?
Not having/enforcing boundaries.

30. Do you like the person that sits directly across from you at work?
I face a corner and a window. I'm good about this.

31. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purposes?
Nope.

32. Last book you finished reading?
Lullaby by Chuck Pahluniak. He's so wonderfully sick.

33. Do you have a teddy bear?
Two. They now hang out with the kids other stuffies. However if I ever end up in the hospital again, Max will be tagging along per usual. He hasn't been far away from me since I got him in 7th grade for Easter.

34. Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?
Nowhere truly unusual.

35. Do you go to church?
Every so often. In fact, i'm going tomorrow because the bells are performing. Other than having to get up at 7 on a sunday (FML!) this should be fun.

In terms of "go to church" not really, though, my concept of God or whatever doesn't really fit with any sort of religion of belief system out there.

36. How old are you?
Next thursday at 7:01 PM I will officially turn 32.

Man, I wish I was paying $2.52 for gas! We're lucky if it's under $3 out here! :S

#34 is a weird question.

Your answer to the favorite drink question is made of awesome. XD
