Generally I regard the news with a heavy dose of side-eye, a Don Draper or Kanye style shrug, and a more than generous dollop of extreme cynicism and move the hell on and forget about it.

And then there is tonight where I read that Virginia Thomas thinks she's entitled to an apology from Anita Hill.

Internet, I was already pissy because I'm the process of numbing my abdomen in preparation of round 2 of Humira shots. Now I'm just incandescent with rage and I still have one more needle to go.

I'ma need for my country to stop having the crazy now plzkthxbai.

I mean, on one hand, I kind of get the idea that doing something this batshit is easier than admitting your husband was capable of sexually harassing someone, right? Like, CLEARLY, her husband (who I guess she had only married like, 3 or 4 years before the Hill testimony?) is a wonderful innocent man who was being MALIGNED by this woman, and after 20 years of his not being affected in his career by that at all, it must still rankle, right?

BUT STILL.

Although did you see the follow up Karnythia posted? How it may just be a smokescreen for the fact that people are starting to look into Mrs. Thomas's political stuff and give it the side eye?
