Is it just me or does the new MLP remind everyone of the Powerpuff Girls? Something about the art style...

What, you didn't know? The main creative force behind this show also worked on Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home. Lauren Faust is awesome, yo.

that explains it. I was about to go look up Craig McCracken to see what he's been up to lately.

Apparently they're partnered in some way. I'm not clear on that. But yeah, she was one of the big creative forces behind both of those two shows as well, and this is her new gig and it's awesome way beyond anything it should be. Plus she rocks.
