Writer's Block: Paranormal activity

Pretty well convinced my mother stuck around The House for a while after she died to say goodbye to everyone the week we were running around trying to get her funeral planned. The little things that kept happening to all of us (boxes of things we hadn't seen for years and kept searching the house for suddenly popping up in easy to spot places, other weird shit) could probably be explained by other means but the main thing that sold me was being up in her room on the phone trying to arrange air travel for my grandmother from Ohio for at least 45 minutes and hanging up absolutely drained and feeling like I couldn't keep going with the list of stuff I had to do. That was about when I started smelling Chanel #5 and Ultra Sheen (Mom always smelled like both) and suddenly felt something giving me a hug.

I'm perfectly willing to entertain the possibility that i hallucinated it. But I don't really think I did.

Kind of an apropos question, really, seeing as it was about this time of year seven years ago.
