A public service announcement to everyone dating Black women:

Never ever ever EVER get our hair wet without permission. Not even in the shower. Trust me, we have gotten the art of showering without dampening the hair down to a SCIENCE. So just because I'm standing in the shower covered in soap? THE HAIR BE DRY. UNTIL YOUR ASS DECIDED TO DROP COLD WATER ON MY HEAD THAT IS.

Consequences include dick punching, all of today's chores and other acts of violence.

Excuse me, I have to dig cell23's shovel out of his car so I can bury his dumb corpse.

Oh, Josh loves my hair. He's Japanese/Irish, so no one in his family has hair like mine.

The Man loves mine as well, especially since I don't have to go through all the rigormorole to style it that I had to when I straightened it. I take showers now and wet my hair in the shower rather than taking a bath when I straightened so I'd be more sure not to get it wet. I can take wind and water now because I don't have to worry about ruining a style.

And he just loves the feel of it. There's nothing like a man running his fingers through your hair during those, erm, "tender" moments.

I'll generally settle for running hands over... since through is a lost cause after it dries. Water is absolutely my favorite styling product though, especially for the glares I get when people ask how I got my hair to curl like that?
