I have to repost this because it's bloody brilliant and anything that makes dad march into my room out of his air conditioning for the sole purpose at looking at me funny for laughing deserves to be memorialized.

Appropriate icon is appropriate. I have to go listen to both songs and giggle maniacally now.

Kipped from metaquotes:
alexandraerin: On the subject of awkwardness, I'm not sure how to even broach the subject, but I feel the need to let Mr. Astley know that I really don't know the rules.
himynameishelen: The rules are simple:
Rick Astley will never
1.Let you down
2.Run around
3.Desert you
4.Make you cry
5.say good bye
6.tell a lie
7.hurt you
If he does he loses the game and has to restart.alexandraerin: Hmmmm. That's tempting. On the other hand, Meatloaf has pledged to never
1. Forget the way I feel right now.
2. Forgive himself if we don't go all the way tonight.
3. Never do it better than he does it with me.
He's also proven himself willing to negotiate on such diverse matters as raising me up, helping me down, and getting me out of this Godforsaken town.
At the end of the day, I think it comes down to a simple choice: Mr. Astley is offering fidelity, whereas Mr. Loaf is instead offering sexual availability, though the possibility remains that sooner or later he'll be screwing around.
It's a tough choice.
