Oh right. One year since. Wow. I still find it kind of insane that he's dead.
Probably Dangerous. It was was released right when I was old enough to pay attention/buy my own CDs, and I very clearly remember this was still when CDs came in longboxes and the Dangerous cover art was clearly designed for this (it's still, I think one of the best covers out there, though there is something about Young, Still Hot Michael lounging around in a suit WITH A MOTHERFUCKING TIGER HOW BADASS IS THAT.) But yeah, Dangerous was definitely a big part of my teenage musical landscape. It's also, in retrospect, sort of the last time we truly saw Michael for his talent more than his freakyness - right after, the rumors about what he was doing with kids started surfacing, he married Lisa Marie and the whole Wacko Jacko really took off, so... career wise, it was a very poignant moment.
