First a signal boost. I'm going to shamelessly crib the first few sentences of karnythia's post because, well, the woman writes about important things better than I do.
I can't donate marrow (disqualified for both the Crohns and the Factor V) so the least I can do is spread the word - if you can, register and donate.
Second, holy balls it's hot. I was okay right up until an hour or so ago (I'm even wearing long pants) and then the 89 degrees and the humid just smacked me. I now feel like I need a nap. Course that could be the hour and a half of sleep talking.
Stressing about everything that needs doing in the next three weeks. I had a productive day today but I know myself, there are no guarantees about tomorrow. About all I can do is resolve to take a bit of a breather now and come back to the grind after a couple of hours of rest. I may also check the weather channel and entertain the idea of seeing if the air conditioner in the back room still works. I figure if my bred and born in DEH EYELUHNDS (Guyana counts, especially around these parts of Brooklyn) Dad has succumbed to the tasty lure of A/C, there's no shame in me doing so as well. I got through today without it; I think the point has been made, lol.
First, go read this post. Then go check out this page about the Myths and this one with the medical guidelines. If you or anyone you know is willing to be tested? Please join the registry. Even you're not a match for this little girl you could be a match for someone else.
