Livejournal accent meme!

Leave a voice post in your journal answering the following questions:

1. Your name and/or username:
2. Where you're from:
3. The following words: aunt, roof, route, wash, oil, theater, iron, salmon, caramel, fire, water, sure, data, ruin, crayon, toilet, New Orleans, pecan, both, again, probably, spitting image, Alabama, lawyer, coupon, mayonnaise, syrup, pajamas, caught, orange, coffee, direction, naturally, aluminum and herbs.
4. What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
5. What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
6. What do you call gym shoes?
7. What do you say to address a group of people?
8. What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
9. What do you call your grandparents?
10. What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
11. What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
12. What is the thing you change the TV channel with?

It may take a couple of tries to get this done, as the VP server's a bit on the busy side, probably due to this making the rounds.

[Error: unknown template qotd]

Everyone who knows me at all knows that I absolutely hate talking to people on the phone (it tends to spark my anxiety like whoa), with a few notable exceptions. I'm usually a text message hound and generally prefer that to a phone call. I use it to post to twitter, but don't read tweets unless I'm on my iPod or on a computer.

Also my phone has a pretty decent camera in it, so I tend to use it for pictures when I can't be bothered to lug the Hatemonger around.

ETA: speaking of which, I didn't post this here - my phone is temporarily dead. If you need me, hit me up on IM, email or DM on twitter - those tend to be better ways of getting me anyway.

First, progress on the bead thing:

Not as far as I'd like, but I plan on banging out a good portion of this tonight. We'll see how far I get with that. There may have to be another bottle of NOS involved.

Second: Cute chilluns.

Cut for super large and precious )

ETA: Third: Someone in this picture posted this on Facebook today. Spot Andee circa Fall 1990.

Yeah, apparently posting via phone is being wonky, the first one of these I sent around 1 yesterday and it didn't make it to LJ until 11:30... meanwhile this one posted instantly.

Anyway. cute drükids are cute.

He has all the oranges.

He does, too. He refused to eat the six clementine slices he's clutching in his hands off frame.

Voice posts are fun, right? You get to hear funny accents if your friends are from far, far away. All we really want is to hear your voice, we don't care what you're saying. So here's a list of typical meme questions that would otherwise be boring, but when communicated aloud - well, it's entertaining. Answer these questions in your post, and encourage others with voice-posting abilities to do the same.

1) What's your name?
2) How old are you?
3) Where are you from? Are you living there right now?
4) Is it cold where you are?
5) What's the time?
6) What are you wearing?
7) What was the last thing you listened to?
8) What was the last thing you ate?
9) What was the last thing you watched on tv?
10) What's your favorite tv show? Why?
11) Quick! Find a book, or something with text on it! Flip to a random page and read some of it! GO!
12) What was the last movie you saw? How was it?
13) Do YOU think you have an accent? Talk about that.

SO MUCH LAUNDRY TO PUT AWAY KILL ME

ETA: #12 duh! Ponyo!!! AND IT WAS ADORABLE.
ETA2: And after that I saw Inglourius Basterds. I MADE A BINGO
